Do You Having Feelings… About War and Ending War?

Do You Having Feelings… About War and Ending War?

Wednesday 3rd September, 8-10pm.

A Free Event for Free-thinking Individuals.

It’s time for our autumn series of free public talks again.
This season, we’re focusing on big events in the news or community that instil public emotion, and for which we need access to our clearest thinking if we are to move forward as a community and as a people.

The first in our series is on feelings about War and Ending War.

There are always reports of war in our world, and in the last month more intensely. Some of us have experiences of war in their lived experience, and most of us have ancestors who experienced war. We have also just seen the passing of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.

For many, the topic of War instils feelings of discouragement and overwhelm that anything could ever be done to end this. We want to ignore the topic and crawl away under something cosy. For others, it instils deep anger, indignation and injustice. We want to do something, but it can also be harder to hear others.

Please join me for this facilitated conversation about listening, connecting, hopefulness and new ideas:

8-10pm, Wed 3rd Sept 2014, 76 Main Street, Gorey (above Wade’s Pharmacy)

I promise it will be an enlightening evening. =)
